The Ilkley Kitchen are overjoyed to be winners of the prestigious 3 Star Great Taste Award for our Orange and Almond Cake.
The first time this bake came out of the oven we had a feeling that there was something special about it. It was an exciting moment - discovering something unique, delicious, flour free and fat free too.
It was a labour of love to develop that initial bake and we are thrilled that its excellence has been recognised with a 3 Star Great Taste Award. Out of 12,772 entries only 208 products achieved a 3 star this year! Thank you Great Taste for having exceptional taste in cake!

Food has always been at the heart of my family – the love of sharing new dishes, old stories and good times. Launching The Ilkley Kitchen in 2016 gave me the opportunity to bring my passion to my community.
As flavours spread from the Real Food Market to local cafés and restaurants, demand grew for our event catering too. We won a Great Taste Award in 2019 and haven’t looked back since.
Whether delivering food direct to customers, supplying local businesses or cooking for clients in their homes, nothing gives us more satisfaction than bringing joy to our customers with delicious, creative and interesting food, all cooked with high quality and locally sourced ingredients.
